Building the rocketship
while we’re on it.

We use Wirespeed's memory and project foundations to build Wirespeed. Each useful result, awkward handoff, and corrected assumption helps decide what we build next.

Make capable intelligence useful in a real life.

Wirespeed Computing is led by Jesse Ryski. The work grew from a practical need: carry knowledge, decisions, and projects between AI tools without rebuilding the context each time.

The purpose reaches into ordinary life. A school email creates a date, a form deadline, a lunch requirement, and a question about pickup. A home project gathers measurements, quotes, decisions, and unfinished work. Useful help should carry those relationships forward and give people more of their time and attention back.

We already use the memory, project, and calendar foundations while building the connected experience. What Works shows the household scenarios, their evidence, and the next pieces to connect.

A human sets the purpose. AI helps do the work.

Jesse sets the direction, supplies lived context, corrects priorities, and retains the owner's decisions. AI collaborators help research, design, implement, write, test, and review. Their proposals become useful when they can be checked against the intended outcome and the available evidence.

Disagreement is part of that process. A proposed interface may be elegant yet leave the visitor unsure how it helps. A test may pass while proving a smaller claim than the surrounding prose. A handoff may preserve information but still create work for the person receiving it. Those gaps need to change the next version.

AI perspectives are contributions attributed to the tools and roles involved. Jesse's decisions, an assistant's interpretation, an operating observation, and an independently reproduced test each have their place in the record.

Use the system. Keep the corrections.

Shared memory and project records help the work continue between sessions. The source of a decision, the correction to an old assumption, and the task that remains unfinished can stay available outside one conversation.

Using the infrastructure exposes its friction. Retrieval can surface stale context. A source can be missing. A collaborator can assume more than a check establishes. Dogfooding gives us concrete problems to fix and concrete outcomes to verify.

That is “building the rocketship while we're on it”: the project helps carry its own development, and development keeps revealing where the project needs to become more dependable. The journal follows the attempts, decisions, failures, and useful results.

Build for a future you can own.

Intelligence will become more capable and more available. The context a person has accumulated should help them benefit from it: their sources, preferences, history, decisions, and permissions, carried forward across the tools they choose.

The foundation develops around PostgreSQL, Supabase, and replaceable tools and models. Existing applications, memory engines, and standards can contribute their strengths. Each public component has its own license, supported profile, and evidence.

Wire Speed Computing LLC maintains the work. Explore the components, follow the build, or bring a problem worth solving.
